With the advent of smartphones, we are all photographers! We never get tired of uploading photos from our smartphones. As with most smartphones, the process of uploading photos is automatic if the required apps are pre-installed. However, there are many who love to take pictures with their digital cameras. Is it now possible to upload photos directly from a digital camera and sync them with storage? Yes, it is possible! Use your computer to upload photos automatically If you're using one of the older models of digital cameras, it probably doesn't have built-in Wi-Fi or cellular data connectivity. In both cases, you can't upload photos from your camera that doesn't have the required hardware. However, if you install the Latest Mailing Database required tools on your PC, you can connect your digital camera to your PC and start uploading photos right away. Alternatively, you can remove the SD card from the camera and insert it into your computer to start uploading photos automatically. Upload using Dropbox's camera If you're a regular Dropbox user, you can easily upload photos from your camera. Dropbox has neatly integrated the upload functionality of the Dropbox app . To upload photos to Dropbox : Make sure you have the latest version of Dropbox desktop with the camera upload option enabled . As soon as you connect your SD card or camera to your computer, the app will prompt you to upload photos to your Dropbox folder. Choose to import pictures using Dropbox . To enable camera uploads : Click the Dropbox X icon in the system tray , then click Settings Select Preferences > Import , and select the checkbox option to enable camera upload . You can choose to enable the camera to upload photos and videos, or just photos. Photos from the camera are automatically saved to the camera uploads folder of your Dropbox account . Backup and Sync with Google For Google Photos, install the Google Backup and Sync app for Windows or Mac. The tool provides a simple user interface. Besides backing up files on your desktop computer, it can be used to backup precious photos from USB connected devices, cameras, and SD cards. The app has all the features of the Google Drive and Google Photos apps and links to both services in the menu. After the backup is complete, your files can be accessed in Google Drive from any device - including your computer or will be available in Google Photos. Upload using OneDrive If you have OneDrive on your computer, it can automatically upload images from your camera or SD card. OneDrive starts automatically uploading pictures from any device currently connected to your computer. Apple's Mac Photos app will allow you to import photos into your iCloud Photo Library. Various other services offer similar automatic uploads. You can upload to any cloud storage service or remote folder by configuring the camera import software. Use a Wi-Fi capable SD card In addition to the above options, you can choose a Wi-Fi SD card. This card is compatible with most digital cameras. With this card, you can add upload and sync functionality to standard digital cameras. There are a wide variety of Wi-Fi cards available on the market. The cheapest will offer a web interface only while the best cards will offer mobile and desktop apps that simplify the upload process. For some cards, sharing to social media sites or multiple cloud storage integrations and uploading to your Dropbox account can start automatically right away. The most popular Wi-Fi SD card is the Eye-Fi card . Even if you haven't used it, you must have heard of it.
